TG4's Irish language drama, is looking for budding Irish language actors to join their cast. If you have the cúpla focal and a burning ambition to act, then now’s your chance to join the acting family of one of Ireland’s most popular drama series!

The team behind Ros na Run are on the look out for both male and female actors to stir things up in the rural village, with some very dramatic storylines. Auditions will be held on the set of Ros na Run in Spiddal, Co Galway. Fluent Irish is essential for all roles - naturally.

Successful actors will take to the same set that saw Stephen Fry make a cameo appearance and that has become home to many familiar faces - indeed viewers couldn’t imagine Ros na Run without Seamus, one of the characters who has been with the soap for 17 years. It would be like Dallas without JR... With dramatic and exciting storylines, actors are guaranteed to have their skills challenged and further developed. During its history the soap screened the first gay kiss shown on Irish television, as well as teen pregnancy, murder, steroid addiction and the usual mount of seduction...

If you are interested in auditioning, simply email your CV with a recent photo to [email protected] before the 30th November 2012. Ros na Rún will then contact you to arrange an audition.

Good luck!
