This week's episode of Saturday Night Takeaway pulled following Ant McPartlin's arrest

ITV have confirmed that this coming episode of Saturday Night Takeaway has been pulled following Ant McPartlin's arrest on suspicion of drink-driving following a car crash.

In a statement released to media today by ITV, it confirmed that "Ant has decided to go back into treatment and step down from current TV commitments. He has spoken with Dec and asked for time off for the foreseeable future." McPartlin was arrested following a three-car smash in London, reportedly failing a breathalyser test at the scene of the crash.

McPartlin was previously in rehab last summer, after which he announced his divorce from his wife of 11 years.
