For those of you that haven't experienced the joys of Greendale Community College yet, what have you been doing with your lives? The fantastic comedy has been around now for six seasons and is definitely worth investing in.

For those that already have, you will be sad to hear that there are in fact no plans for a seventh season. The show had originally been cancelled last year by NBC but was snapped up by Yahoo for its recent sixth season.

According to star of the show Joel McHale, it's definitely finished. When asked if Yahoo would be giving them another season, he told Metro Weekly; "No. They wanted to. But all of our contracts were up after six years. All the actors on the show, almost without exception — their stock has risen significantly and it’s out of the pay rate that is affordable to make the show. So you’re not going to be able to get Alison Brie or Gillian Jacobs at a normal television salary anymore. There is just not enough money to be able to pay for the show."

However there is hope that the series may just get Abed's dream of 'six seasons and a movie', with Yahoo releasing a statement saying; "We've seen tremendous value in our partnership with Sony and are continuing to discuss future opportunities for Community."

Future opportunities, 'ey? Just give us the damn movie already!
