Set and script security has become a hugely important factor in making TV and film in the past ten to fifteen years, more or less since the proliferation of the internet and drone technology.

On the set of The Last Jedi, the cast had to wear black cloaks over their costume to stop people flying drones over the set and, with Game of Thrones, it's a whole other level. According to numerous reports by the cast, HBO has kicked it up a notch when it comes to keeping a lid on the script for the final season.

According to our own Liam Cunningham who plays Ser Davos Seaworth, the scripts are geo-locked - which means they can only be opened when they're on the set in Belfast. Madness, but totally understandable.

Meanwhile, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jamie Lannister, says that he isn't even being given a script. In an interview with Scandinavian chat show Skavlan (which sounds like a Game of Thrones character), the actor explained that they're using a technique that Johnny Depp allegedly uses for his films - being fed lines through an earpiece on set.

All the security might seem like overkill, but considering that HBO was subjected to a hack last year with scripts from last season being held to ransom, it makes complete sense for them to step it up for the final season of their most successful shows.
