Gus Fring wouldn't be too impressed with the spotlight being shone on his fast food enterprise (which of course is cover for his even more lucrative crystal meth enterprise).

Humberto Puentes-Segura, the man who designed the iconic Los Pollos Hermanos logo is suing Sony for copyright infringement. He's claiming that Sony infringed on his copyright by selling merchandise emblazoned with the image without permission.

Puentes-Segura says he only ever gave the show permission to use his design for the fast-food restaurant as "a prop, set dressing, and/or wardrobe" in connection with the hit AMC series.

"Plaintiff did not, however, grant Defendant Topanga Productions or any other person or entity any ancillary rights in the Artwork, or the right to license, manufacture, distribute, or sell any merchandise bearing any reproduction of any portion of the Artwork, or any derivative works thereof," writes Puentes-Segura's attorney.

Fans of the show will be well aware that there's no shortage of Los Pollos Hermanos merchandise available at a mere click of a button. Puentes-Segura, who lives in Mexico claims to have limited internet access and that he only discovered that his design was used as merchandise last October.

He is seeking damages, an accounting of the profits related to the purported infringement and an injunction.
