Another week in telly land is over and, while it may not have been as busy as the last, it certainly wasn't quiet on the small screen front. In fact it was all go as Tommy Bowe's new trailer caused quite the stir, Michael Jackson's young fella hit our screens, Richard Briers said a sad farewell and just about everyone in Hollywood announced they were doing telly of some sort or other.

Anyway, for all of you TV lovers out there who may have been too busy, here's your Week in Telly in one supposedly bite sized package...

The week started out quite well with an award for Girls creator Lena Dunham, a record breaking lap for Lewis Hamilton and a new man for Mary Crawley. Dallas heart throbs Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson returned to telly screens while the tabloids got a bit confused about whether or not Derren Brown was going to turn someone gay on TV. However, delighted turned to sadness when news came of the sad passing of not one, but two TV icons. Richard Briers and Derek Batey RIP.

Robert Pattinson revealed he was an X Factor fan, before the producers made sure Khloe Kardashian would never ever watch the show again. Allegedly. A new Dragon entered the den this week and there was even talk of rebooting Stars In Their Eyes. We all had a good gawk at Tommy Bowe's body, *cough* Body Check, Michael Jackson's young fella got himself a job on d'telly, Danny DeVito came to Dublin and Netflix at the same time and there was even talk of Graham Norton breaking records with a chat show.

We wondered if Julian Fellowes would leave Michelle Dockery for Gwyneth Paltrow, found out Seth Rogen's doing Arrested Development, discovered Mandy Moore will be doing her fair share of Pulling, and saw Scary Spice take Sharon Osbourne's seat on America's Got Talent. Sharon was lookin smashin at the BRIT Awards, so she was.

The Beeb put out the call for a Pistorius documentary, David Tennant's new mystery drama got its very first trailer, Men In Black met Beverly Hills Cop and young Prince Michael showed us that he has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of the prince of pop. They certainly packed plenty of action in Stateside.

And as the week drew to a close Law and Order SVU risked the wrath of Rihanna and Chris Brown, The Sopranos' cousin Christopher headed off on a comedic venture, Home And Away's Romeo landed a job... away, Justin Timberlake announced his mini TV takeover, Tulisa lost the X Factor (apparently), and we picked this lad from this lot to send to Eurovision.

Oh, and a brand new Game of Thrones trailer dropped too. Y'know, just in case anyone watches it...
