Last night's 'Love Island' was another hugely dramatic episode, as not only did Wes and Megan's controversial flirtation/'relationship' step up a notch, but two islanders were dumped from the show altogether.

In a slightly evil move, the three couples who proved least popular in the public vote (Adam and Zara, Alex and Ellie and Eyal and Megan) were separated into 'boys' and 'girls' - and then the remaining (safe) islanders had to choose who to kick out.

While most people may have been screaming at the telly to get rid of smarmy Adam or put Alex out of his misery, the girls opted to evict Eyal from the villa, presumably because they've had enough of his pseudo-intellectual waffling.

On the other hand, there was a major shock as the remaining boys chose to dump a devastated Zara from the island, breaking up what had presumably become a happy coupling with Adam (and leaving Muggy Megan in to cause more havoc - she's lucky she had Wes in that decision-making process...)

The outrage on Twitter, meanwhile, was something to behold:

Of course, with six new girls AND six new boys set to enter the villa - and the return of Casa Amor - tonight, it's only a matter of time before Adam's broken heart is healed...

Roll on, 9pm.
