The pair played cops Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder in the hit series.

Amazon are getting the old band back together for a brand-new series based on Hanna, the 2011 thriller flick starring Saoirse Ronan.

Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos begin shooting next month and will work off a script from the original Hanna co-writer David Farr.

Enos will play ruthless CIA agent Marissa while Kinnaman plays the role of Hanna’s father, an ex-military man who raised his daughter in isolation and taught her everything she knows.

Fans can expect a “raw-knuckle ride”, as writer Farr explains:

"Hanna aims to be both a raw-knuckle ride and a deeply touching family drama. It has the visceral excitement of a genuine conspiracy thriller but also the simple humanity of a rites of passage drama.”

"Hanna is in a very unusual family. She's a very special teenager. But all teenagers think they're abnormal. She's just a little more abnormal than most."
