If you're keeping track at home, The Big Bang Theory is currently on its eleventh season - so the conclusion of next season will bring an end to the sitcom series.

That's according to Johnny Galecki, who made the comments during the TCA press tour yesterday. "The only manner in which the cast has discussed wrapping has been that we’re all going to be very sad when that day comes," said Galecki. "But I think at this point everyone’s very comfortable with 12 seasons being a good time to go home and see our families."

Most sitcoms, such as Friends or Frasier, usually end around the ten or eleven season mark, so The Big Bang Theory finishing out on twelve sounds about right for the season. Not only that, the amount of money that they've made over the years is now likely to be getting prohibitive. Vulture estimates that the main three cast members - Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco - made something in the region of $139.8 million EACH from the show's entire run.

All that for saying "Bazinga" and eating a sandwich with a fork. We get the world we deserve.
