'Supernanny' returning to TV. Sort of.
Without her, there would be no naughty step. There would be no time out. And that would not be "axccetable."
Therefore we're all thrilled to hear that Jo Frost will return to a telly box near you after taking the last year off to spend more time with her own kiddies. She won't be reappearing as Supernanny, more a guidance counsellor for troublesome teens and dysfunctional adults who are making a hames of their life.
As has become customary, if the show goes down well in the UK, Jo will then be farmed off to the states to shoot the US version.
Someone speaking with The Sun burbled: "Jo's compassionate nature will offer guests who are buckling under family pressures a chance to work through their problems without being judged. But she won't hold back when something needs saying!"
This all sounds very positive, that is until you learn that it's being produced by the team responsible for ITV's Jeremy Kyle Show...
