Stranger Things was undoubtedly one of the best shows on TV last year, and thankfully, the good folk of Netflix have commissioned a second season, which will be out on the streaming service in July.

Up until now, we haven't heard many details, other than that former eighties child star Sean Astin would be joining the cast, alongside Paul Reiser and newcomer Linnea Berthelsen.

However, actor David Harbour, who plays Chief Hopper, has thankfully revealed some juicy new details at a press panel at Fan2Sea Comic Con.

Harbour revealed who Sean Astin will be playing, saying: "... he's Winona's new boyfriend - much to the chagrin to the Chief of Police."

He went on to say: "It's a year later in the story, so there are several things that happened last year - like Will has come back - there are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don't know what happened. So there's a lot of fall out with who knows what."

Harbour added, "The question and the feelings that Nancy has that no one ever cares about her friend Barb are very much present in the beginning of the season."
