Sean Astin, Paul Reiser and Danish star Linnea Berthelsen have joined the cast of Season 2 of Stranger Things.
The first two names, in particular, will drive the geeks mental as we've got one guy who was in The Goonies and another who starred in Aliens - the former obviously a nod to a big influence for the smash hit Netflix show.
Astin will play a high school pal of Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Hopper (David Harbour) who works in the local Radioshack. Reiser a shady government employee on a 'clean up' assignment.
Newbie Berthelsen will play "an emotionally damaged, magnetic young woman" according to THR.
Yea, we're excited. Netflix are really doing this second season right. Hopefully some set pictures start popping up as soon as cameras roll.
