You've got to love those freedom of information reports that get sent out every so often from the likes of Met Eireann.

It really does show not only the wealth of weirdness that's out there in Ireland, but also gives you an insight to what sort of people watch the daily weather reports. While most of the complaints sent to Met Eireann centered on getting the weather wrong, obviously, several complaints were quite specific and a lot more varied than just meteorological matters.

One complaint specifically said that the on-air talent of Met Eireann were revealing their underwear too much in their outfits. Yes, really. According to one complainant, the visible sight of underwear on weather broadcasters "is not freedom of expression or feminism, this is just a lack of human standards."

Our favourite complaint, however, is one that accuses Met Eireann of covering up geo-engineering by the US military. Geo-engineering, for those that don't follow InfoWars and the like, is chemtrails and the like. This isn't the first time this complaint has been lodged, either. Another complaint was made in 2014, where Met Eireann and a specific broadcaster was admonished for "passing disinformation in order to assist in the cover-up of supposed geo-engineering," and then called for the unnamed broadcaster to resign.

Is Met Eireann involved a government conspiracy to hide geo-engineering in Ireland? Is Jean Byrne, in fact, an alien overlord sent to mesmerise us all with her choice in fashion? Are Evelyn Cusack and Nuala Carey really just lizard people? Is Ger Fleming a member of the Trilateral Commission?
