If you were having nightmares about Joseph Fiennes' portrayal of Michael Jackson then there's good news for you today as Sky have pulled the episode after receiving criticism from and causing offense to Jackson's family.

Sky Arts' 'Urban Myths' was set to feature an episode dedicated to the tale of Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, and Marlon Brando going on a road trip from New York to California in the immediate aftermath of 9/11.

The episode starred Fiennes as Jackson, Stockard Channing as Taylor and Brian Cox as Marlon Brando.

In a statement, Sky said:

"We have taken the decision not to broadcast Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon, a half hour episode from the Sky Arts Urban Myths series, in light of the concerns expressed by Michael Jackson's immediate family."

"We set out to take a light-hearted look at reportedly true events and never intended to cause any offence. Joseph Fiennes fully supports our decision."

Sky's decision comes after Jackson's daughter Paris responded to fans on Twitter saying she was "incredibly offended" and that the portrayal made her "want to vomit".
