Given the fact that both contestants left the Big Brother house under a storm of controversy, it's no surprise that neither Roxanne Pallett and Rodrigo Alves have been refused an invitation to the finale of this year's 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

Metro.co.uk confirmed the news that the producers behind the embattled reality television series have barred both Pallett and Alves from attending the finale party, but added that evictees were more than welcome to attend.

Rodrigo Alves was removed from the Big Brother house after he used racial slurs on two separate occasions, but has bizarrely claimed that he left the house of his own free will. Roxanne Pallett, meanwhile, left the house following accusations that fellow contestant Ryan Thomas of physically assaulting her. Both Alves and Pallett's actions led to well over 20,000 complaints being subimitted to Ofcom.

It's also understood, though not confirmed, that both Pallett and Alves forfeited their fee following their exit from the show. Pallett was rumoured to be picking up a fee of close to £750,000 for her time on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The series continues tonight on Virgin Media Two at 9PM.
