If the '80s had action cartoons, '90s cartoons were far more geared towards comedy.

You, of course, had 'The Simpsons' and the beginning of 'South Park', but you also had 'Animaniacs', 'Freakazoid!', 'Ren & Stimpy' and the criminally underrated 'Cow & Chicken'. But more than that, you also had more adult-orientated (or at least teenager-orientated) shows like 'Beavis & Butt-head', 'The Critic' and 'Aeon Flux'.

With the influx of cable television in America in the '90s, the popularity of MTV, and a widening audience for television, all of this eventually fed into the likes of 'Family Guy', 'F Is For Family' and shows like 'Bojack Horseman' beginning to subvert the medium of animated cartoons.

So, are any of these shows in this quiz? Well, yes and no. We've got 15 images from cartoons that were on TV during the '90s.

All you've got to do is match them to their individual show. Good luck!
