We're not sure why The Weakest Link went off the air but we reckon that Anne Robinson should get her act together and bring it back properly. For now, however, fans of the show will be delighted to know it is back for one night only this Friday for Children in Need.

The special will feature a range of celebrities that will all no doubt be victim to Robinson's sharp tongue at some stage. They include This Morning presenter Rylan Clark-Neal, Holby City's Chizzy Akudolu, TV chef Rosemary Shrager, Cold Feet's John Thomson, food critic Giles Coren, Cannonball host Maya Jama and Love Island star-turned-rapper Kem Cetinay.

Take a look at the first pics released below:

There is a small chance the show actually may return on a more permanent basis, with Anne saying she will use this Children in Need special as a dry-run.

"They have asked whether I will consider doing celebrity shows, Saturday nights, next year, Anne told Radio Times. "I have said I will do Children in Need and see how I feel."

Catch the Children in Need Special on BBC Two on Friday at 10pm.
