Yep, you read that right, it will in fact be 2015 until we see this particular Christmas special, however due to Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman's busy schedules (they are kind of a big deal now) it will be filmed in the upcoming weeks.

So the BBC have released a teaser pic which has fans all in a tizzy questioning if they will in fact go back in time for the episode, as the lads are in Victorian dress as opposed to their own modern getup.

Or you know, maybe they just let loose in the Ripper Street wardrobe department....
