The crème de la crème of Christmas TV kicks off tonight, with BBC1 showing The Graham Norton Christmas Special from 10.35pm.

Squeezing on the couch ce soir is the delectable Doctor Matt Smith, alongside Hollywood stalwart Dustin Hoffman, Billy Connolly (hopefully in better form than he was last week on The Late Late…), Jennifer Saunders and the usual dollop of muzack.
