Rather than going for the austere, stately surroundings of Dublin Castle or the usual studio, Vincent Browne and his team opted for a much different venue for their coverage of the Marriage Equality Referendum.
The George Bar on George's Street, Dublin. Arguably the most well-known gaybar in Ireland.
Needless to say, a live broadcast is going to be tricky - but in a gaybar, on the biggest day in Irish LGBT history, where there's drink involved? It was definitely going to get messy.
Here's just a few highlights of arguably one of the most historic / bizarre programmes in recent Irish history.
9. VINCENT AND HIS GUESTS WEARING THE MADONNA-ESQUE EARPIECES
We half-expected Vincent Browne or Mary-Lou McDonald to randomly burst into a verse of Vogue.
Next up live on #vinb fantastic atmosphere @TheGeorgeBar even have @olivercallan keeping us entertained pic.twitter.com/P4sNSFNR36

8. THE DRAG QUEENS SHARING MAKE-UP ADVICE WITH GLENDA GILSON
Great fun here @TheGeorgeBar #MarRef2015 #vinB pic.twitter.com/T3TCQ8gijY

7. OLIVER CALLAN'S SPOT-ON ENDA KENNY IMPRESSION
"Could the last man to leave the Iona Institution please turn off the light?" Genius.
6. THE ENTIRE GEORGE (AND VINCENT) ERUPTING INTO 'OLÉ OLÉ OLÉ' WHEN THE VOTE WAS CALLED
#VinB singing Olè is too much. Like a drunk opera singer! #MarRef pic.twitter.com/3v1jDkCoA4
— Martyn Rosney (@martynrosney) May 23, 2015
FUCK YOU, SCILLACI! Oh wait, wrong year.
5. BOSCO ACTUALLY TURNED UP
Oh here it goes. It's Bosco #vinb pic.twitter.com/LXnFzqEXSa

We thought we were going to get the confirmation we all expected - Bosco's gay. Not to be. But still, what a champ.
4. DAVID QUINN DIDN'T TURN UP (ALTHOUGH HE WAS ASKED)
Watching #vinb in the George still hoping that @davquinn will turn up: pic.twitter.com/5R5l77GBkN

Wow, imagine if he DID turn up, though.
3. DRAG QUEENS SINGING LADY MARMALADE ON NATIONAL TELEVISION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY

Truly, this is a new Ireland.
2. SHIRLEY TEMPLE BAR SINGING BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY ALSO ON NATIONAL TELEVISION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY
Only in Ireland! This is how all referendum result shows should be done! #Vinb pic.twitter.com/HV6kiqgJWO

If you're gonna do a Queen song, go with something like Somebody To Love.
1. VINCENT BROWNE ACTUALLY PARTIED WITH THE GAYS
Probably the most amazing ending to an Irish television program I've ever seen - #vinb #MarRef #YesEquality pic.twitter.com/SPbE8jUEFC

And damn if he didn't love it. What a day.
