There's yet another exciting new TV series on the way to HBO with Nicole Kidman lining up to produce and star in the adaptation of the Jean Hanff Korelitz novel You Should Have Known, while Big Little Lies writer David E. Kelley is also on board.

It's set to be called The Undoing and will see Nicole take on the lead role of Grace Sachs, a successful therapist and devoted wife and mother on the precipice of publishing her first book. However, the sudden disappearance of her husband uncovers some horrifying secrets that will force Grace to completely rebuild her life from ground zero.

"David has created another propulsive series with a fascinating, complicated female role at its centre," Kidman said. "I'm excited and honoured to continue collaborating with HBO and David E Kelley."

While HBO programming president Casey Bloys also said: "We're thrilled to continue our creative relationships with both Nicole and David and can't wait to bring this show to life."

Kidman will also star alongside Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep in the much anticipated second season of Big Little Lies on HBO, which begins filming soon.
