There are many a cartoon you could say defined your childhood, but the Care Bears was the ultimate one right? We are talking pre-school, pre-Barney, pre-everything days, it was all about Care Bear power, and you don't even try and deny it.

Now the good folk of Netflix have decided to bring them back, and their cousins too, whoever they are. 'Care Bears and Cousins' will premiere on the streaming service in 2016 (forever away!) as confirmed by chief content officer Ted Sarandos during an interview with CNN, as part of Netflix's strategy to have shows for every age.

The nostalgia trend doesn't stop there, as they are also bringing back 'The Magic School Bus' and 'Popples' too, with Ted saying; "A lot of it is just 'trusted brand' ", meaning that parents are more likely to let their kids watch shows they would have watched themselves.

So in other words, we can rest assured that the kids - they're going to be alright - they have the Care Bears.
