It's all go for Steven Avery these days, with news that there is a second season of Making A Murderer on the way, his nephew Brendan Dassey has had his conviction overturned, and Steven has even just got engaged. That's right, Steven Avery, who has been behind bars for the last decade, has a better love life than you.
Now Avery is set to be on Dr Phil's show next week, albeit on the phone, while his wife-to-be, Lynn Hartman, will be in studio. The interview has already been filmed, with Avery saying; "The truth is coming out, and sooner or later all the truth will come out."
Dr Phil talks to the pair about Avery's life in prison, as well as how they came to be engaged. The couple had been in contact over the last eight months, and only met a few weeks ago at the Waupun Correctional Institute in Wisconsin. Avery then went and proposed. As you do. He's mad for the proposals, that fella.
The episode will air in the US on October 3rd and 4th, but hopefully we can view over this side of the pond soon.
