Looks like even the smallest stint in Love/Hate can lead to big things, as one of the stars of the most recent series has just being signed by a Hollywood agent. 16 year old Kelly Thornton has recently signed up to ICM agency, who look after some of the biggest stars in the business, including Al Pacino and Christopher Walken. I mean, they are no Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, but they'll do I suppose.

Kelly featured in the first episode of the show as one of the children involved in the tiger raid kidnapping. She was most notable in her performance for trying to leg it away from Fran, who was chasing her in that God-awful mask.

She also formed an unlikely bond with Tommy, bless him, who felt sorry for her and foiled the whole operation by turning up to she if she was okay after they were released. Dubliner Kelly was hand picked out of hundreds for the role, and it was her real life sister Robyn (11) who starred alongside her.

Love/Hate is not her only acting stint, it was actually her role in the award-winning Life's A Breeze, alongside Fionnula Flanagan and Brian Gleeson, that brought her to the attention of some Hollywood bigwigs. Her mother Maria told The Herald: "Some producers and agents saw her in it and really liked her. She's been auditioning around the clock since then and there are some exciting things coming up, we're just waiting to get the green light."

And look here she is with Fran (Peter Coonan) again, bessie mates now.
