It's been all go in the Love Island villa the last couple days, with Marlin showing up telling Terry what's what, and the recent re-coupling that had the show's first ever same-sex couple get together, as Katie Salmon chose to be with Sophie Grabon.

However, barely a day later, Sophie has said that she can't go any further with her relationship with Katie, as she still has feelings for Tom.

This decision came about after the Islanders were shown a selection of mean Tweets written about them, with one person stating;

"Sophie slated Terry for doing what he done to Malin yet she's going to do the exact same."

In the scenes which are to be shown on tonight's show, Sophie states;

"Right, that's it for me. I'm done. Yeah, I'm going to ask [if I can leave]. I cannot do this, it's just too much of a mind-f*ck. It's not worth it. It's not worth losing Tom over. I can't lose Tom, I can't."

Sophie then later chats to Katie and says;

"It's not fair to couple up with someone who's potentially interested in taking things further, I don't want to do something that I regret and ruin my relationship with Tom. I want him."

Later Sophie decides that she will in fact stay, given that it's the last week of the show, but that it's the end of the (very brief) road for her and Katie.

Meanwhile Tom told The Mirror today;

"As far as I know me and Sophie are still together. I know it's a long shot - as she said she was a 'lone wolf' and all that s**t and she's kissed another bird - but I'm not a bad guy so I don't want to be made out to be the bad guy," he said.

"Until she is out and I can say 'you cheated on me' or whatever, we're together."

So all could yet be well with Sophie and Tom.

We can't keep up.
