News came in over the weekend that Louis Walsh has decided not to return to the upcoming series of The X Factor. HE decided... it's not that he wouldn't be asked back... ahem. It seems though that Simon Cowell has other plans for him back on our shores with a new show called Ireland's Got Talent, based on the British and American format.
Haven't we already tried that though? The All Ireland Talent Show... it wasn't even that long ago. Remember? Daithi, Blathnaid, Dana and the gang?
Anyways, this one will be, eh, better.
The Mirror has reported the news of this new talent show for Ireland, with a source saying; "Simon thinks Louis is the best man to take the reins on the judging panel."
"He's very popular in Ireland and is the obvious choice; Simon trusts him.
"The show's in the early phases of development and Ireland should be a great new territory for the Got Talent format."
Again though... All Ireland Talent Show.... has everyone just happily chosen to block that from their mind?
