Not everything Marvel or Disney touches turns to gold, and this is just the proof we needed.

It's been reported that ABC is quietly cancelling Marvel's Inhumans, the big-budget television series that even received IMAX screenings in the US of its first episode. The series, which starred Game Of Thrones alum Iwan Rheon and Hell On Wheels' Anson Mount, received universally poor reviews of its first season and was criticised for its poor CGI and lack of quality.

According to Comicbook.com, its cancellation is a foregone conclusion and the television series has been quietly removed from the ABC publicity site, and the TCA tour indicated that it was effectively as good as gone. With just one season of eight episodes and not exactly recognisable actors and characters, Inhumans was always going to have work to become a crossover hit - but, unfortunately, it just wasn't to be.

Did you watch Inhumans? If so, are you sad to see it cancelled? Let us know in the comments!
