The Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon rivalry has been ridiculously entertaining. Over the years we’ve seen them enter couple’s counselling as a result of their feud while Kimmel even tried (and failed) to use the Oscars as a platform on which to bury the hatchet.
The two never miss a chance to take a dig at one another and so for Damon’s birthday yesterday, Kimmel made sure to give the actor a shout-out on his talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Needless to say, the birthday wish was not totally sincere as the talk show host wished Damon a ‘Happy 60th birthday’, saying “I have to admit, he looks pretty good for 60.
He continued: “This year for his birthday, Matt wished for the same thing he wishes for every birthday – talent. So sorry buddy, maybe next year.
“I feel bad because I know he’s probably at home blowing out candles, by himself.”
Matt Damon only turned 48 yesterday, by the way, so that makes it a triple whammy.
