Jeremy Clarkson has hit out at a report by the Mail On Sunday claiming that Amazon's motoring show with the former hosts of Top Gear - Jeremy Clarkson, Russell Hammond, and James May - is due to be cancelled after its third season ends.

According to sources who spoke to the MoS, "(there's) nothing to suggest they are going to do another," and said that neither Clarkson, Hammond or May have signed anything "and employees are wondering where everyone will go once filming wraps."

The series has reportedly brought in close to $100 million for Amazon, who began their push into original content with The Grand Tour.

Clarkson recently announced that he is due to host the reboot of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, taking over duties from Chris Tarrant.

The Grand Tour began on Amazon when Clarkson, Hammond and May left BBC's Top Gear after Clarkson was fired for calling producer Oisin Tymon "a lazy Irish c*nt" and physically assaulting him for not having a hot dinner made for him at a hotel they were staying at during shooting.

Clarkson has since denied the reports in the Mail, posting on DriveTribe "Just to be clear, the Grand Tour will be back later this year", and replying to a fan on Twitter by saying "Don't believe the fucking Mail."
