BAFTA Award Winning Sherlock star Andrew Scott and Merlin's arch-nemesis Morgana aka Katie McGrath are joining forces with Fresh Meat actor Greg McHugh, White Van Man's Will Mellor and Mrs Biggs star Sheridan Smith for Channel 4's brand new drama, Dates.
The series, which comes from Skins creator Brian Elsley, has just started filming in London and follows a series of couples as they head out on dates. And the point of all this is? To explore the complexities of modern relationships, apparently. Ben Chaplin (The Thin Red Line), Neil Maskell (Utopia), Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones), Gemma Chan (Secret Diary of A Call Girl), Montana Thompson (The Story of Tracey Beaker) and Sian Breckin (Tyrannosaur) also star.
With a stellar cast like that we're pretty sure we'll be tuning in to check out the 9 part drama, which is due to hit OUR screens in Summer 2013. And sure when it's got both Moriarty and Morgana and is described as "surprising, awkward [and] sexy as hell", it'd only be rude to miss out.
