Ian McShane's no stranger to speaking his mind when it comes to, well, anything.

Previously, McShane let slip that the Hound was returning to Game Of Thrones before it was officially announced, which no doubt pissed off a number of executives at HBO and half the Internet trying to avoid potential GoT spoilers. In that same interview, he referred to the show somewhat disparagingly as just "tits and dragons," which can only piss them off even further.

Think that's the end of it? Guess again. In an interview with Empire, McShane responded to that whole business with all of his trademark candour intact. "Firstly, you love it and secondly, you’ll have forgotten by the time it comes out. And what am I giving away? A character beloved by everybody returns. Get a fucking life."

"The show is huge but some fans seem to identify with it (too closely). You want to say, ‘Have you thought about your lifestyle? Maybe you should get out a little more.'"

Wow, Lovejoy, way to really get fans on side. In any event, it seems his predilection for dropping spoilers and pissing off hardcore fans doesn't seem to have made much of a difference to his career, as he's set to take a lead role in the TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman's American Gods in April of this year.
