No offense to you and yours, but there really are a shed load of  talented people in Galway right now. It's the Galway Film Centre’s annual Film and TV Seminar - Talking Production 2014 - and a whole load of folk from the 'business' have stopped by.

House of Cards Show Runner Beau Willimon is there who, at age 37, has the honour of being the youngest show runner in America at the moment. He is giving a talk today on his experiences as creator, writer and executive producer on House of Cards, the hugely successful Netflix drama series, starring Kevin Spacey. Willimon has also managed to write the political film, The Ides of March, starring George Clooney too. See? Way more impressive than you or I.

As well as Beau, Gub Neal is there, who is the producer of the hugely successful drama series The Fall, starring Jamie Dornan, and currently showing on Sunday nights on RTE 1.

While Claire Jennings, the BAFTA winning producer of Coraline and the Curse of the Were will also be in for the seminar, which runs until tomorrow afternoon (Friday 28th November).

To see who else will be speaking, head on over to www.galwayfilmcentre.ie.

And do drop by if in Galway, because while we all might not be winning enough at life to actual speak at the event, I'm sure they will let us in... well, pretty sure.
