We've made no secret of our utter distaste for Honey G in the past, nor has anyone else for that matter, and it now it seems Honey G is fighting back.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Honey G - real name Anna Guilford - has said that "for people to hate on me or doubt me or say I’m a joke is really insulting. These people need to check themselves properly because they mean nothing to me. I’m a genuine artist."

Genuine. Artist. Mother. Of. Christ.

Just to make it even more ridiculous, Honey G double-downed on claims that she isn't racist or appropriating black culture, saying that she thinks people are "discriminating against me because I am white. It makes me question whether they have a problem with someone rapping who is white."

"I’m not the only white person in the world who likes black music. There’s no evidence, proof or truth that I am a racist."

In fact, Honey G has made more than a few rap and hip-hop artists come to her defence. 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg have both said they're interested in working with Honey G, should she win, whilst Simon Cowell's friend and guest X Factor mentor Sinitta has said that she believes Honey G isn't racist - but did stress that she was most definitely faking it.

“Her mother has a middle class, English accent, she’s very pretty,” said Sinitta in a recent interview with Huffington Post. "She’s not at all ghetto, she doesn’t say ‘yo’ and ‘what’s up’ and everything. So I don’t know how Honey G has developed all these traits."

"I think she’s faking it, but I think she believes. I think she has reinvented herself as a black American ghetto rapper," said Sinitta, who then compared Honey G to Ali G.

As for Honey G, she's still convinced she can win and is more invested than ever to win. Let's hope this all ends shortly and we're not just talking about Honey G and X Factor. We need this all to end. All of it. Giant comet, people. Let's make it happen.
