The news came in over the weekend that a Home and Away favourite will be leaving Summer Bay. Turns out he doesn't think they belong together, forever and ever - the lyrics LIED.

Brace yourselves if you haven't heard, but Brax is leaving the Bay. Yes, the original and last remaining River boy (nobody cares about Kyle) will be on our screens no more. We only JUST got our heads around Casey leaving.

Actor Steve Peacocke - who has visited these shores on many an occasion - like many a Home and Away star who has gone before him, is planning on heading to Hollywood to take his chances there.

He will be joined by his wife and fellow Home and Away co-star Bridgette Sneddon, who also left the soap last year.

Peacocke told The Daily Telegraph; “It wasn’t something I was looking forward to because I love the show and the people I work with so much. But 'I think the key to any good TV series or any good storytelling is to leave the audience at the right point,' he said to the publication. 'Where we got to with Brax, we hit a point where it was the point for him to exit.'

Annoyingly, we kind of agree, he really has been apart of every story possible at this stage. He did say though, that 'the door will always be open for Brax', so at least we know he's not going to come to the same grim demise as poor Casey.

The actor also added that it wouldn't necessarily be any time soon either, saying; "Brax is still going to be a big part of the show for just about all of 2015." Phew!

Steve has already appeared in a Hollywood blockbuster with a minor role in Hercules alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, so that does bode well for him stateside...

While his on-screen brothers (Lincoln Younes and Dan Ewing) have already gone ahead of him to try launch careers there too. You never know, the Braxton boys could be coming to a cinema near you closer than we think.
