We may have got all fancy with our mod-cons nowadays but it turns out we did in fact have the technology to support the likes of Netflix back in the day. Well, kind of.

The Philco Predicta was a TV made in the 1950s that was said to be "TV today from the world of tomorrow", however a group of Netflix engineers decided to make good on that and have adapted a Predicta to play content from the streaming service.

It has two knobs at either side of screen to scroll through programmes with contemporary shows appearing in the old school style fuzzy black-and-white format.
