The 74th annual Golden Globes Awards took place last night with the who's who of Hollywood and beyond lining out the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA. The ceremony, which honours both movies and TV, is generally seen as a decent indicator as to who the coveted Oscars will end up with, so you can have a look at the Movie Winners here.

However for TV, this is one of, if not the, awards ceremony of the year. It was Netflix's The Crown and BBC's The Night Manager that reigned supreme last night, with the former picking up Best Drama as well as Leading Actress for Claire Foy, while The Night Manager secured a gong for three of its leads - Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman. Yep, the wonderful Olivia Colman is now a Golden Globe winner, so there is some justice in this world.

Check out the winners below, while you can catch the highlights show tonight on RTE2.
