The rumours are true: episodes nine and ten are going to be big ones.

We mean that in every sense of the word too, as not only is all manner of drama going down, but the final two episodes are going to be the longest of the season so far.

After being leaked by Sky Germany last week, the titles for episodes nine and ten have now been confirmed by HBO as 'Battle of the Bastards' and 'The Winds of Winter', respectively. 'Battle of the Bastards' is pretty literal, and it being the ninth episode (historically the one where shit really goes down), we can expect the Ramsay Bolton and Jon Snow showdown that's been teased all season. The showrunners previously said that this season features the biggest battle in the show's history and with this episode coming in at 60 minutes in length (plus ads on Sky Atlantic), we think we can assume that it's going to be one battle to remember.

'The Winds of Winter' comes from the title of George R.R. Martin's forthcoming sixth novel in the series and is 69 minutes long, the longest ever for the show. There's not even a hint of a description for that episode yet but we reckon the White Walkers might finally be showing up at the Wall, and even beyond.

In the meantime, here's your preview of next week's episode, 'No One'.
