For Game of Thrones fans, the face of Iwan Rheon, aka Ramsay Bolton, undoubtedly terrifies them to their core, and the actor hasn't done much to escape his villain typecasting by recently portraying Hitler, albeit, a more comical one, in Urban Myths.

It seems the actor is now embracing it as he has recently been cast as the lead in Marvel’s Inhumans, a new TV series on its way to ABC in the autumn. It will follow the story of a race of super-powered beings who first appeared in Marvel Comics publications in 1965, you may also have seen them recently in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.

Rheon is set to play the brother of the leader of this race of 'inhumans', Maximus the Mad. His character comes across as a man of the people, but secretly longs for the power his brother Black Bolt has.

“Iwan’s ability to be charming, roguish, and still completely unexpectedly dangerous were all the different sides we needed to bring the character to life. We’re thrilled to have him on board,” said Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel Television and executive producer.

The series will see Scott Buck serve as showrunner, who is also the man behind Netflix's upcoming Marvel series Iron Fist.

Inhumans is set to premiere later in 2017 with the first two episodes to be screened in IMAX theaters before the broadcast debut.
