Back in the mid-noughties, there was only one teen drama we were glued to and that was The OC. For some reason we couldn't get enough of the trials and tribulations of some rich kids living in this picturesque Californian county. We blame that catchy opening song.
The show finished up back in 2007 after just four seasons and in truth, it did lose a little bit of its magic near the end. Now however, they are bringing back this TV drama but in musical form!
Yep, The O.C is to be made into a musical folks, as Seth, Summer, Marissa and Ryan reunite on stage to sing and dance their way through all their teen angst.
Unfortunately though, it won't be the original cast returning, they're too busy helping Batman grow up and the like.
It's from the same people who brought the world 'Cruel Intentions: The Musical' (yes, we swear that is also a thing) and will be adapted and directed by Jordan Ross, with Lindsey Rosin producing.
Sadly though, it will be a one-night only event all the ways over in Los Angeles on August 30th. So you know, we probably won't make it.... *Sets Skyscanner alert*
