It's a while yet before Netflix's House of Cards returns for another season, but they are busy casting away and have added a very familiar face to their lineup for season four.

90s TV and movie star Neve Campbell has joined the show as a series regular, although noone is giving anything away yet about who her character will be. However, according to Deadline, there's speculation that a new, younger power-hungry couple will arrive in season four to rival Frank and Claire, so perhaps Neve is one half of this? We will have to wait and see.

Neve was famous for her role as Sidney Prescott in the Scream franchise, while she also starred in nineties hit show Party of Five. In recent years she has made guest appearances in a number of shows including Mad Men, Grey's Anatomy and a comedy series called Welcome to Sweden, but this is her first series regular role in quite some time.

Considering the huge popularity of House of Cards though, this could easily be the role that skyrockets her career. She will be in good company after all with the likes of Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright and of course, our fave, Michael Kelly.

House of Cards is due to return for its fourth season early 2016.
