Toadfish off Neighbours? Gillian 'roadside' Taylforth, and Ken Barlow's grandson Adam? And perhaps even someone off Heartbeat?! And dinosaur Jim Davidson?! It's all too much, it's just all too glamorous. Especially since also rumoured to be entering the house is Rylan Clark off X Factor and some jockey who wants to ingratiate himself to the public after failing a drugs test. Anyone else willing for Katie Price to be in there? Me neither. I'd wager a fair wedge on Leandro Peanna being in there, though...

Defending the line up, Big Brother's Bit On The Side host Emma Willis said: "You're not going to get A-listers on board because they don't need to do it. People like your Nadine Coyle and Lindsay Lohan, they are so media trained (Lohan, media trained, BAAAHAHAHA) you're never going to get anything from them Nadine Coyle, realistically, what are we going to get from her as a housemate? She may be really famous but we need content."

Others supposedly in the running to appear on the show include ex-Corrie fodder Bruce Jones and Wendi Peters (Les Battersby and his ex-wife Cilla), and Meatloaf...

The series kicks off on January 3rd on Channel 5 at 9.00pm.
