*Spoilers below"

As usual, if you're not up to date on Game of Thrones yet, jog on.

The last we saw of Jorah Mormont in season six he was saying an emotional goodbye to Daenerys who ordered him to go find a cure for the terminal Seven Kingdoms disease that is Greyscale. Tears were shed, long heartfelt looks were given, and we thought that may just be the last we see of Lord Friendzone.

As usual though, every aspect of Game of Thrones is speculated upon to within an inch of its life by fans, and one Redditor has come up with a pretty plausible theory as to why everything might just be okay for Jorah the Explorer.

You will have to take your mind back to season 2, when Jorah met the mysterious masked woman Quaith, who was full of riddles but seemed to know our man pretty well. The character was only in two episodes but fans have always wondered whether she could be brought back somehow, because come on, look at that mask, no sideline character can have a mask that awesome.

While Quaith was chatting to Jorah, she was painting a symbol on somebody's back, a symbol that is supposed to protect you from harm if passing through Valyria, aka the home of Greyscale and where Mormont met the stone men who passed it onto him.

So therefore we can assume that this masked lady would have some kind of knowledge on the topic, and given that the only person we know of that was cured of Greyscale was Shireen (*sob*), we're pretty sure that Quaith may be Jorah's only chance.

Then he can be cured and go sail off into the sunset with his Dragon Queen!

Lol.

That poor dude is friendzoned for life.
