Although he's no longer representing Steven Avery, it's fair to say that Dean Strang is now inextricably linked with Netflix's Making A Murderer.

The attorney, together with Jerry Buting, fought Avery's defense in the Teresa Halbach case and were responsible for identifying a number of truly troubling elements in the the investigation. Strang, as you'll know, was over not too long ago when he did a horribly awkward interview with Ray D'Arcy.

This time, however, Strang will be interviewed by an appropriate host - namely Professor Shane Kilcommins, who lectures in Criminal Law at UL where the event will take place.

The event is open to the public and takes place on September 26th at the University of Limerick Concert Hall. Tickets go on sale from UL's LawSoc from Tuesday morning, 9AM for the price of €20 for the public and €12 for UL students. All the details up on UL's Facebook event page.

There's also a Q&A section and, as you can imagine, Brendan Dassey's appeal and overturned conviction will definitely come up, as will Avery's request for DNA testing.

If you're going along, do let us know what happens!
