Sunday evenings have been taken over by some well-known Irish faces in their glad rags giving it all that, but that's enough about Fair City, you probably want to know what those celebs will be strutting their stuff to on Dancing with the Stars this week.

Get the popcorn at the ready because this Sunday's Dancing with the Stars takes inspiration from the silver screen as the celebrities and their dance partners channel their inner Hollywood for ‘movie night’.

Last week's top of the leaderboard Alannah Beirne and partner Vitali Kozmin will take on an American Smooth routine to City of Stars from Oscar-winning romantic musical La La Land.

Anna Geary and her partner Kai Widdrington will perform a contemporary number to Let it Go from the Disney smash hit Frozen while Bernard O'Shea will channel his inner Jack Sparrow when he and Valeria Milova take on the Paso Doble to He's a Pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Deirdre O'Kane and John Nolan are set to perform a lively Quickstep to Peppy and George from The Artist while Erin McGregor and her partner Ryan will take on the Charleston to Woo Hoo from cult classic Kill Bill.

Jake Carter and Karen Byrne will go Back to the Future as they perform the Cha Cha Cha to The Power of Love from the 80’s big screen blockbuster while Maïa Dunphy and Robert Rowinski perform the romantic Rumba to Up Where We Belong from An Officer and a Gentleman.

And guess what Marty Morrissey is doing? He and his partner Ksenia will perform a lively American Smooth number to Pretty Irish Girl from Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Sorry Marty, but we're cringing already.

Also on Sunday night, Rob Heffernan and Emily Barker will perform a sizzling Samba to Jump in the Line from Beetlejuice while Tomás O'Leary and Giulia Dotta will aim to dominate the dancefloor with a dramatic version of the Paso Doble to Led Zepplin’s Immigrant's Song from superhero film Thor: Ragnarok.

They'll all need to bust out some movie star moves or they could be following in the footsteps of last week's first eliminated star, Norah Casey.

Catch Dancing with the Stars on Sunday at 6.30pm on RTÉ One.
