Television writer and producer Dan Harmon is best known as creator of NBC comedy 'Community', as well as the more recent 'Rick and Morty', which has a third season on the way. It's just emerged though that Harmon is also busy at the moment with a new series with American network FX that's set to be called 'Happy City', and as we said in the headline, is described as "Thomas the Tank Engine for adults".

According to Deadline; "Happy City follows a young taxi named Tyler and his millennial friends (a firetruck and a helicopter) as they navigate their way through life in the big city. The world of the series will be reminiscent of the model-based visual style of children’s shows such as Thomas the Tank Engine, using models with animated faces to comedically explore adult themes such as broken relationships, workplace struggles, and existential crises."

The half-hour show will be made with comedy troupe Extremely Decent, who are known for their sketches and music videos on YouTube and comedy websites.

No word when we will see it yet but definitely sounds like one to keep an eye out for!
