Stone the flamin crows, Kate Ritchie is coming back to Summer Bay to celebrate 25 years of Home and Away! The Aussie actress left the soap in 2007 and will return for a brief stint this year.
"Summer Bay is a very different place these days and I am looking forward to working with all the fresh faces that have continued to take Home and Away from strength to strength," Ritchie said in a statement. "It will be a good opportunity to catch up with some old mates too. Those cast and crew I worked with for so many years are who I have missed the most."
Ritchie isn't the only returning cast member, what with Esther Anderson due to return for a brief on-screen reunion with Steve Peacock this year too. Kate's expected to return to the set in the next few weeks to film scenes that will be aired over a number of months. We can't wait to see how she and daughter Pippa have been getting along!
