In a Facebook post on his page, Catastrophe star Rob Delaney wrote movingly about the heartbreaking passing of his two-year old son, Henry, from cancer.

A brain tumour was discovered shortly after his first birthday, and underwent to surgery to have it removed, however the cancer returned to claim him. In Delaney's statement, he described his son as "smart, funny, and mischievous and we had so many wonderful adventures together, particularly after he'd moved home following fifteen months living in hospitals."

Delaney praised the work of the NHS and the nurses, doctors and charity workers who cared for Henry, calling them "my heroes until the day I die."
