Bryan Cranston may not be on our TV screens anymore since Breaking Bad finished up, but he is busy working behind the scenes at the moment for his CBS drama pilot Sneaky Pete.

According to Deadline, he has cast the lead for the show too and have to say, we think he made a fine choice. Giovanni Ribisi is the actor in question who you will know from back in the day as Phoebe's little bro in Friends and a whole host of movies since including Ted, A Million Ways to Die in the West, Gangster Squad, Gone in Sixty Seconds and Contraband.

He will play Pete/Marius, a thirty-something charming con man who takes on his prison cellmate's identity once he is released from jail. “Sneaky Pete” then hides out from his debtors while working for his new “family’s” bail bond business. He then uses his charm and criminal prowess to take down bad guys far worse than himself, partnering with the real Pete’s first cousin, Julia (Marin Ireland, Homeland), a witty single mother of two who is running the family’s bail bond business.

The show has been written by Cranston and House creator David Shore, and executive produced by Cranston as well as Seth Gordon who also directs.

No word on when we can see it yet but we'd imagine it will be late this year or early 2016.
