The folk at Comedy Central have lined up their latest victim for a roasting and it's none other than Die Hard star Bruce Willis.

It's set to be filmed in the coming months with the special slated to air this summer.

Bruce Willis had the most Bruce Willis statement ever to make about his decision to appear on the show, which sees Bruce's peers slag him off for an hour straight pretty much: "This ain’t the first time I’ll be tied to a chair and held hostage by a group of humorless a–holes for a couple hours," he said.

Willis rose to fame in eighties drama Moonlighting but it was his breakout role in action flick Die Hard which secured his super star status, although he's made some questionable choices in recent years.

The last Comedy Central roast aired in the fall of 2016, with Rob Lowe serving as punching bag. Former roastees also include Justin Bieber, James Franco, Charlie Sheen, Roseanne Barr, William Shatner, and Donald Trump.
