There's no denying that Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones are two of the best show's that telly has had to offer over the last few years, maybe ever (there, we said it) so when any news of these two combining forces comes in, well, it's pretty exciting to say the least.

It's been announced that BB director Michael Slovis will direct two episodes in the upcoming season five of Game of Thrones, taking over from Alex Graves who directed four out of the ten episodes from last season and has recently announced he will be taking a break from the show.

Director and cinematographer Slovis was behind the camera of four episodes of Breaking Bad (Kafkaesque, Cornered, Live Free Or Die, Confessions) and was director of photography on over twenty as well as working on the likes of Law & Order: SVU and Chicago Fire.

It's pretty exciting news although it's not the first time the shows have crossed over as former Breaking Bad director Michelle Maclaren has also directed episodes in season four.

Slovis will be working alongside showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff and it's thought he will be directing the first two episodes of the next series.

We want to make some kind of Walter White in Westeros joke, but we're better than that, and so are you.

Who are we kidding, no we're not...
